  • Special thank you to New Carbon Economy Consortium Associate Member CarbonClick’s Dave Rouse for providing the first of our new series NCEC Expert Insight’s on Carbon Markets and Article 6 of the Paris Climate Agreement.

  • CarbonX is offering grants to supporting emerging low-carbon technologies with substantial catalytic funding and resources. May 2025 application deadline

  • Second Nature UC3 Announces Second Nature’s New Carbon Markets & Offsets Guidance HERE

  • The Reuters Institute at the University of Oxford has issued its annual Climate change and news audiences” report, based on surveys of audiences in eight countries. The report’s 2024 edition identifies “climate perception inertia” as a key challenge for journalists, by which it means “a stagnation in public views on, attitudes to, and engagement with climate issues and information over time, despite the growing urgency of the crisis. 

  • Impact of truck electrification on air pollution disparities in the US, Nature Sustainability HERE

  • Green Climate Fund approves USD 686 million for climate action and decides to establish regional presence HERE

  • Prance Earth News is a nonprofit news platform that amplifies innovation and circularity through journalistic reporting, reaching audiences locally and internationally HERE

  • FSD Africa, The 2023 Nairobi Declaration, endorsed by the African Union, reaffirmed Africa’s position as a prime destination for climate investment and called for a reformed international financial system to drive sustainable development and accelerate global decarbonization efforts HERE to learn more about Africa’s carbon market potential and the path forward.
