• UN shipping agency strikes deal on fuel emissions, pollution fees: CO2- cutting measures approved to help meet the IMO’s target to cut net emissions from international shipping by 20% by 2030 and eliminate them by 2050. 

• University of Illinois creates new agroforestry maps to plot benefits of trees such as: soil erosion, water quality, climate and profitability for lands that are not viable for other crops. 

• Carbon 180 features article on energy and water needed to fuel direct air capture.
