Dear NCEC members, 

The New Carbon Economy Consortium and Istinye University look forward to welcoming you to İstinye University in Istanbul this November for the 2026 NCEC Annual Meeting, and are delighted to share an exciting opportunity that grows directly from our shared work.

In celebration of this milestone gathering, İstinye University is proud to announce the publication of a Springer edited volüme; The New Carbon Economy: Economic Modeling, Optimization, and Strategic Energy Transformation;  part of the prestigious Studies in Systems, Decision and Control series. This volume is designed to capture the intellectual energy and collective expertise of NCEC. We warmly invite NCEC members and partners to contribute a chapter that reflects your research, insights, or institutional perspective on the themes at the heart of our work together: carbon markets, emissions policy, sustainable finance, optimization, decision intelligence, and the pathways to energy transformation.

There is no fixed deadline at this stage.  We want to ensure that contributors have the space to produce work they are proud of. We will be in touch with further details as the editorial process progresses.
